Private Label Eligibility Criteria

For merchants that sell private label or other local/regional products that are not typically found on a nationally-distributed, regularly-stock items list, the Private Label Eligibility Criteria publication outlines the guidelines for how merchants may flag these items as IIAS-eligible in addition to those found in the SIGIS Eligible Product List.

For TPSs that support their client merchants with an inventory that includes private label or local/regional products, the Private Label Eligibility Criteria publication will describe the criteria that TPSs also use to flag these items.

To be in compliance with the new OTC Rulings, merchants and TPSs should remember to update FSA eligibility flags on any private label items that match national branded items that have been removed from the SIGIS List. See the FAQ for OTC Rule for more information.
