Jody Dietel joined WageWorks in 2008 through the acquisition of Creative Benefits, Inc., a consumer-directed healthcare benefits company she founded and managed for nearly 20 years. She navigates the maze of federal and state regulations and serves as a liaison between WageWorks and key industry groups and governing bodies. Her experience includes leadership roles at Prudential Insurance Company of America and the Wyatt Company (now Towers Watson). She is a board member and president of the Special Interest Group for IIAS Standards and a board member and Vice-Chair of the Employers Council of Flexible Compensation. Jody has a B.A. in psychology from Bethel University.

As Senior Director of Payments Strategy, Reed Luhtanen has responsibility for Walmart’s payments-related public policy and public relations initiatives and, along with an internal leadership team, for establishing Walmart’s payments acceptance strategies. Reed has been with Walmart since 2005, when he joined the Licensing Compliance team as a law clerk while attending the University of Arkansas School of Law. Since joining Walmart’s Corporate Treasury team in 2008, Reed has had responsibility for government benefits acceptance, the company’s global gift card program and debit card acceptance. Reed has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Arkansas’ Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

Ryan is a CPA, CTP and CFC and currently overseas Financial Operations activities related to HealthCare Reform Compliance and various functions within the Humana Corporate Finance Department. Ryan’s prior responsibilities in the Product Develop Department at Humana included responsibility for business development, strategy and vendor relationship management related to consumerism products, international business development and card based programs. Ryan has been with Humana for over 11 years.

First Data Healthcare Services provides end-to-end payment solutions that streamline the healthcare experience for patients, providers, and payers. The company pioneered a multi-use healthcare card that provides access to HSA, HRA, FSA, and other funding sources. First Data Healthcare Services is one of the largest processors of healthcare payment cards. Christensen joined the healthcare team in 2003. Joan represents First Data in several industry organizations. Joan was nominated and is a board member of the Employee Council for Flexible Compensation (ECFC). Joan joined First Data in 1985.
